Welcome to our website …

The secret of making something work in your lives is first of all, the deep desire to make it work, then the faith and belief, it can work, then to hold that clear definite vision in your consciousness and see it working out, step by step, without one thought of doubt or disbelief’ by Eileen Caddy of the Findhorn Foundation Scotland.

This is the story of how in 1999 one  ordinary lady (Susan Wood), with a deep passion for music, a clear vision, and the utmost faith in her concept founded and created the ‘Lytham Proms Festival’ (recently renamed ‘the Lytham Festival’). This site is a celebration of  the Lytham Proms Festival’s not so humble beginnings, attracting well over 4,500 in its first year,  its benefit on tourism, community and charity, and its enduring appeal……..
